BOND|ST EVENT CENTRE
Originally constructed for the GM United Auto Workers Union Local 222.
The Sacco Group purchased the building in 1996. The building was home to multiple tenants over the years including The Dungeon and Lazer Quest.
Renamed "BOND|ST EVENT CENTRE" in 2020, The Sacco Group restored and enhanced the building while keeping its historical integrity and structure.
The ambition was to contribute to the revitalization and keeping the rich tapestry of the arts, culture, and entertainment in Downtown Oshawa.
A taste of the "big city” at home, BOND|ST Event Centre is an entertainment mecca, with two homes for live music - the Mainstage - and the Dungeon’s successor, TwoTwoTwo. These spaces are further complimented by the Local Lounge, the BOND|ST Cafe, and the BOND|ST Snack Bar.
LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
BOND|ST is situated on the traditional lands of the First Peoples of the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation. The lands are covered under the Williams Treaties and rest within the traditional territory of the Anishinaabeg. We offer our gratitude to the Indigenous Peoples who care for and, through the treaty process, share the lands on which we live, learn, teach, and prosper today.
