ALAN CROSS

Alan Cross is an internationally known broadcaster, interviewer, writer, consultant, blogger, and speaker with more than 40 years in broadcasting and the music industry. Renowned for interviewing major rock artists and for his work as a musicologist and documentarian—most notably through The Ongoing History of New Music—he currently provides content consulting for Toronto’s 102.1 the Edge and Q107. Beyond radio, he has authored five books, delivered hundreds of speaking engagements, written a national music column for Global News, and contributed extensive voicework and research for commercials, film, television, documentaries, and corporate media. His projects include The Science of Rock’n’Roll, a traveling museum exhibit, and hosting the true-crime podcast Uncharted: Crime and Mayhem in the Music Industry.
